Rob Spurrier
CEO and Co-Founder
Working in the golf industry since leaving school, Rob has developed a unique insight and love for the game, But his motivation today is the same as it ever was – to share the joy of playing and coaching golf, and of running a successful golf business. He co-founded Orbis in 2012 on this very principle, and assembled a team of industry experts with a passion for golf, alongside a suite of market-leading solutions that focus purely on enhancing the game for everyone involved.
“I’ve worked with Major venues, local municipals and every type of golf facility in between, and they all have one thing in common: they want to improve. Whether it’s the club, the professional or customers, it’s about better careers, better business, a better game, or simply a better overall experience. Our job is to help to make that happen for them – and in doing so, to also change the industry for the better.”
Rob Warburton

Management & Programming
With a BA (Hons) in Applied Golf Management, an Advanced PGA qualification, and 10 years’ experience running his own Golf Academy alongside Rob Darwin, Rob Warburton applies his unique expertise to designing bespoke coaching programmes as well a driving forward the GLF. Connect Software solution. His customers include multi-venue corporate partners and PGA professionals.

Andrew Simmonds

Andrew’s experience spans coaching at the Darren Clarke Golf School, receiving an Advanced Certificate in Sports Coaching from Birmingham University, and taking over three UK golf academies. While running these academies, Andrew combined his experience and Orbis GLF.Connect to raise retention by over 20%, revenue by over 17%, and the number of junior golfers from 8 to over 100.

With two summer placements at Royal Birkdale during his BA (Hons) in Applied Golf Management, it’s fair to say Rob D’s career in golf has been informed by first-class services from the get-go. Rob started his own Academy at Moor Park in 2011, with Rob Warburton, and earned his Advanced PGA qualification along the way. Rob’s 15 years in the industry are the perfect grounding for his current role supporting Orbis and providing the data analysis that drives the team.

Regan Madron
Client Success and Programming Development Manager
Regan uses his BSc (Hons) in Sport Science combined with his four years of experience in various areas of the golf industry to bring a fresh perspective to the programming part of the business and drive product development. His experience includes working in golf club operations, sales, and custom club fitting. Additionally, he has recently completed an England Golf certified coaching course to further enhance his skills and knowledge. He now takes on the role of Client Success Manager to ensure all our customers are optimising the GLF.Connect system and our programmes.
I embrace the challenge of changing the game and believe that through our approach, we can positively impact the industry! Hearing success stories between coaches and students using our programming and software motivates me to continue my work.
